Project: Advent Software
Site: 301 Brannan, 35 Stanford & 303 Second St., San Francisco

The world’s leading provider of Enterprise Investment Management solutions is Advent Software. In 1983 McMillan Electric provided the Electrical and Data Communications for Advent’s developing San Francisco headquarters. Today Advent occupies all of 301 Brannan Street and 35 Stanford Street. The 100,000 square foot of office space wired by McMillan includes a new electrical distribution system, UPS system, emergency generator, indirect architectural lighting and a custom wire distribution and management cable tray system. In 2004 McMillan performed the design build electrical portion of the Advent Data Center at 303 Second Street complete with an 800kw roof mounted generator.

Project: Co-Generation System
Site: 201 Mission St., San Francisco

201 Mission Street is a 38-story office building managed by Equity Office. In 2005 McMillan Electric teamed with Northern Power Systems to provide and install (2) 375kw synchronous generators which work in conjunction with PG&E to power this high rise building.

Project: Citicorp Center Life Safety System
Site: One Sansome St., San Francisco

In 1994 the 41-story Citicorp Center at One Sansome Street was voted Building of the Year by the Buildings Owners and Managers Association of San Francisco. Today McMillan Electric has recently completed the installation of a new EST-3 Life Safety System complete with all new devices in the tenant and core areas. McMillan Electric has been the Building’s Preferred Electrical Contractor since performing the original tenant build-outs more than 20 years ago.
